On Vision and Success

Then the Lord replied:

“Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

*VISION*- a distinguishing factor between successful and unsuccessful people.

Successful people are motivated by a vision/dream beyond themselves; not only that, they make it plain and they run with it. Such people have a dream that is bigger than them; they have something that constantly keep them going. They don’t do things to impress others, they do things according to their visions. Though the vision might be big and sometimes complicated but they believe that if they work hard enough, they’d some day hold that dream in their hands. I am talking about successful people here.

Unsuccessful people are only motivated by today, they are not tomorrow’s thinkers , they are not looking beyond themselves. Such people go with anything that comes their way not taking into consideration what tomorrow may bring.

I started a new course last year. 25 students enrolled, 20 students showed up. During the induction, the learning manager said “not all of you will finish this course”. Everyone rejected it and said “God forbid”. Today, we are less than 15 in the class with some planning to quit. These set of students changed to easy courses, they changed to other courses because they are easy and fast. They want to graduate quickly and get a good paying jobs (of course, it is good). My point  is, those students don’t know what they want in essence – no vision , no purpose. They don’t even know where they are going. A student said once said “I don’t even know why I’m in this class “.

The poorest person is not the person who doesn’t have a nickel .

*The poorest person in the world is the one who doesn’t have a VISION*

If you don’t have a vision/dream/goal and purpose for your life, you are never going to become what you could become!

Shalom!

  1. It is good to live a purpose driven life.
And the goodness is dependent on what we all see and take as our purpose/purposes.

Well, among all, my purpose is to partner with the Godhead in birthing forth their plan on earth.

…the plan for humanity to be the Tabernacle of the God.

…the plan for humanity to be the exact replica of God’s image- Community Life, on earth.

…the plan to make the Kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom or our Lord.

    If I have any plan,
    If I have any pursuit,
    In this current life,
It is towards achieving this one purpose.

    THIS IS MY LIFE’S CALL!
